The name of the village comes from a Celtic root Cor Seg , the pointed rock.
The initial traces of occupation date back to the appearance of metals, with an older vestige dating from the Neolithic period.
From the 2nd century of our era the Romans founded a first draft of village ( Vicus Altus , the High Village).
